Search for a title you enjoyed and B&N will suggest similar titles.

This Bowker website aims to provide a one-source stop for online information on the book industry.  Also includes book reviews, discussion forum and subject-specific information lists about current titles.

Database of Award-Winning Children's Literature

Search this database to locate award winning juvenile books that fit your criteria. Many features can be specified including age, genre, award, ethnicity or gender of protagonist, historical period, and keyword. Produced by a Reference Librarian at Cal State San Bernardino.

Gale's Literary Index

This is an index to the Gale print products. You can locate which Gale series includes information on an author; Title, to find where it's located within the Gale literary series; and Subject, where one can look for authors in the Index by name, birth date, death date, or nationality.

Genreflecting

Good for information about different genres of fiction.  Includes lists of "Must Read" authors in genres, lists of titles and citations to print sources for additional genre information.

Internet Book List

This site includes a lot of information.  It was started a couple of people who love to read and it has grown from there.

Great guide to using the Internet for readers' advisory.
