The Inland Library System Ellison machine and dies are loaned to member libraries from the Inland Library System office. ILS member libraries and their branches may request that the machine and a selection of dies be sent to their library. To request or reserve the machine and dies contact the ILS at:
Voice: (951) 369-7995
FAX: (951) 784-1158
ils @ inlandlib.org
We prefer to receive an email, fax or written request. Reserve the machine and preferred dies as far in advance as possible. Please request only the dies you need. The dies are heavy, bulky and difficult to ship.
The loan period is ten days. Loan period may vary due to delivery schedule. An extension can be made if another library is not scheduled to use the dies or the machine.
ILS will deliver the machine to Inland member libraries with ILS delivery stops. Delivery to and from branch libraries can be made by connection with individual library delivery systems.
If you only need a few die cuts, arrangements can be made for ILS staff to cut the items for you. ILS will use whatever paper is available or requesting libraries can supply their own paper.
ILS owns an Ellison pad-it press. The pad-it press makes it easy to make Ellison die cuts into small note pads. The notepads are nice to use as incentives. Because of the awkward shape and size of the pad-it press, we will not send the machine out for loan. We are happy to produce the notepads for you or you are welcome to come to our office and use the machine with prior arrangements for use during our normal business hours.
The Children's Department of each ILS library has been provided with a Die Cut Notebook containing a cut of each die that ILS owns and information about how to request dies.
